Okuden – The Inner Teachings of Reiki
Okuden is a Japanese word meaning “Inner Teachings.”
As the name suggests, this course invites you into a deeper understanding and a more intimate connection with the teachings of Usui Mikao.
At this level, you will learn how to consciously connect with the energies of Earth and Heaven — a first step on the path toward full harmony with the universe.
This connection is cultivated through the practice of Shirushi (symbols) and Jumon (mantras).
Shirushi and Jumon involve various techniques such as chanting and visualization.
The focus is not on their outer use, but rather on their inner power for spiritual development.
This course is designed for practitioners at the Shoden (Level I) level who wish to deepen their connection to Reiki energy and cultivate a more profound understanding of its presence in their own lives.
With Okuden, students can also begin stepping into the path of becoming a professional Reiki practitioner.
All elements accompany us on this journey — but during Okuden, the qualities of Fire and Air will take on a deeper significance.
Reiki is not a religion, but a traditional Japanese healing art known as Usui Reiki Ryōhō.
My holistic approach to Reiki is gently supported by trauma-sensitive elements from Somatic Experiencing (SE), creating a space where integration and safety can flourish.
